Hello Instructors, Faculty, and Support
The Activity Stream (Blackboard landing page) has been enhanced for Instructors! In addition to displaying up-to-the-minute activity of all your courses and Institutional announcements, your courses are now also displayed with indicators for Items that need grading, Messages, and Students with alerts. Visit the Blackboard Help Topic to Learn More. Enjoy the new feature!
Regards,
Academic Computing / System Administrators
Blackboard will be performing scheduled maintenance on SafeAssign on Tuesday November 19, 5AM-7AM. During this time, the SafeAssign service will be completely unavailable, and any submissions will need to be resubmitted after the maintenance.
Blackboard and all other components will not be affected with this maintenance. Users will continue to access Blackboard to develop, communicate, participate as usual apart from SafeAssign.
Students, Reach out to your Instructor/Course support with questions about assignments.
System Announcement from Academic Computing
From the moment you log in, you have access to core features in the list where your name appears. You can easily return to the list from wherever you are—even if you're in a course. The list peeks from behind the other layers you have open. The activity stream displays all the action in all your courses.
When you select any link from the list, you see a global view across all your courses. For example, Grades shows all your grading tasks organized by course. No need to navigate to each course to see what's ready for grading. Instructors - check out the resources below. Student's - check out the Student Datasheet!
